You can choose between three different types of tours: Route, Collection, and Quest. In this article, you can learn more about these types, and how you can use them.

Route

A Route is a collection of stories that the user visits in a specific order. This allows us to create coherent narratives, building on each story. This type is good for biographies, traditional guided tours, and dramaturgical narratives.

Collection

A Collection is a set of stories that do not have a chronological order. This gives the user more freedom to choose. Collections are suitable for large collections with many stories, city maps, and themed collections.

Quest (coming soon)

A Quest is a collection of stories that the user visits in a specific order. It is similar to a Route, but with a twist:

To find the next point, the user must answer a question correctly.

This allows us to create engaging experiences that encourage interaction. Like a Route, it can be used for coherent narratives, building on each story. Quest is also suitable for biographies, traditional guided tours, and dramaturgical narratives. This type can be used to create more interaction and is therefore good for creating a sense of treasure hunting and unpredictability.

If you choose the Quest type, in practice it means that each story should contain a quiz. Learn more about how to create a good quiz.

Good Storytelling is Key
