Frederiksberg is more than just a charming borough in Copenhagen – it’s a culinary gem waiting to be explored. Now, thanks to support from Frederiksberg Municipality’s Business Fund, StoryHunt is launching a brand-new digital experience that will put the spotlight on the area’s rich food and drinks culture and passionate local producers.
Taste Frederiksberg this Summer

This summer, tourists will be able to explore Frederiksberg’s food and drinks scene through a free, self-guided audio walk in the StoryHunt app. The walk leads visitors through some of the most vibrant streets and hidden corners of the neighborhood, uncovering stories of local chefs, bakers, chocolate makers, and wine enthusiasts along the way.
The experience highlights Frederiksberg’s identity as a foodie destination; authentic, refined, and full of flavour. From famous streets like Værnedamsvej, recently named one of the coolest streets in the world by Time Out, to cozy corners on H.C. Ørsteds Vej and Godthåbsvej, the tour invites visitors to walk, listen, taste, and connect with the people behind the local delicacies.
Each stop on the tour features a short, engaging audio story available in English (with other languages to follow), giving insights into the lives, values, and specialties of the people who shape Frederiksberg’s food and drinks scene. Whether it’s the history behind an iconic wine bar or the craftsmanship of a beloved bakery, every story adds flavor to the journey.
With Recommendations and Discounts

For each place, you'll get recommendations for what to eat and drink. But it gets even better; partners on the tour will offer exclusive discounts to tourists who take the walk. So not only will visitors get inspired by the stories, but they’ll also get a little extra taste of Frederiksberg for less.
Partners will be selected in April

Partner selection is taking place throughout April. Once confirmed, these businesses will be featured in the StoryHunt app and actively promoted as part of the project. By being part of the tour, they’ll not only be helping shape a new kind of tourist experience—they’ll also be reaching new guests eager to shop, eat, and explore locally.
Good Taste is Part of Frederiksberg's Identity

The initiative builds on Frederiksberg’s new brand identity, created by Visit Copenhagen and available here.
"Our outset for the tour has been the new brand identity from Visit Copenhagen. We've chosen to focus on Frederiksberg as the Bohemian Food & Drink neighbourhood that celebrates artisanal quality, intimate hospitality, and local character," says Mathias Mølgaard, CEO of StoryHunt.
StoryHunt’s aim is to create meaningful connections between visitors and Frederiksberg’s food and drinks culture.
As part of the project, we want to highligt the local heroes that have made Frederiksberg into the food and drinks mecca it is today," says Mathias.
So, whether you’re a first-time visitor or a Copenhagen local looking to rediscover the city, this new gastronomic tour will offer a fresh way to experience Frederiksberg—through stories, senses, and shared moments.
The tour will is expected to launch this summer. Stay tuned for more info. The tour is supported by Frederiksberg Municipality’s Business Fund.
