StoryHunt’s interactive audio walks serve as an alternative to traditional tour guides, allowing travelers to listen to fascinating stories about their surroundings—at their own pace, guided by GPS through their phone.
Since 2018, they have created more than 100 audio walks worldwide, used annually by thousands of people. Now, they aim to expand the product globally through advanced AI technology.
The Personal Tour Guide – Right in Your Pocket
Imagine standing in the heart of a new, unfamiliar city, surrounded by intriguing streets and hidden stories. You want to dive into the soul of the city, but where do you start? The thought of trudging along in a group of 30 people with an umbrella-wielding guide just doesn’t feel right.
With StoryHunt’s personal tour guide, it’s easier than ever: simply enter your preferences—maybe a three-hour tour ending at your hotel, focusing on medieval history. In just seconds, you’ll be presented with a tailored audio walk designed to match your interests and needs.
Along the way, you’ll listen to captivating stories about your surroundings as you’re guided past relevant attractions and hidden gems you might never have found otherwise.
“We’ve spent years perfecting audio walks that people love—but it takes a lot of time. That’s why we’re now leveraging our data to develop an AI that can create them much faster without compromising quality. It’s a huge opportunity for both travelers and the industry,” says Mathias Mølgaard, CEO of StoryHunt.

Take the first tour already this year
The first version of StoryHunt’s new technology is expected to launch this summer, giving travelers the chance to experience the new tours.Due to the complexity of the system, the rollout will happen gradually.
In the first phase, tours will be manually reviewed and quality-assured by StoryHunt’s team to maintain high standards.
